After reading the teaser of this book at the end of “A Gentleman Never Surrenders” I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book.
Quinn was a swoon worthy hero – but I do love Scottish hunks. And wounded heroes in need of a gentle touch to heal them are even more appealing. Quinn had a lot of love to give he closed off part of his heart wilted when his previous wife died. I loved seeing him finally give into Rowena’s tenderness and love.
Despite being an English beauty that any man would fight to have, Rowena wasn’t proud or boastful. I loved her innocence and uncertainty. Yet despite all of that, she had a foundation of strength and knew what she wanted. She was exactly was that wounded Lord needed.
A Scottish Lord for Christmas is a nice addition to the Sins and Scandals series. It’s the perfect length for a quick read – I read it in one sitting – absolutely couldn’t put it down. I would definitely recommend it.
